The Programme aims to contribute to the development of technology companies with potential application to the Defence sector, pursuing, in particular, the following objectives:
Promote companies' capacity to address technological, industrial and commercial challenges associated with the Defence market.
Support the preparation of companies with technology-based solutions for Defence market entry requirements (qualification, certification and regulatory compliance) and for their integration into national and international value chains, as suppliers or pre-qualified partners.
Facilitate contact between companies, industrial partners, public entities, investors and other relevant ecosystem stakeholders.
Promote the development of collaborative projects and the establishment of strategic relationships among the different stakeholders in the sector.
Accelerate the preparation of companies for financing, procurement and cooperation opportunities, both at national and European level.
Promote the creation of a pipeline of qualified partners for consortium applications to national and European Defence funding programmes.
Contribute to strengthening the national Defence and Dual-Use Innovation ecosystem, anchored in the Leiria / Marinha Grande industrial cluster.
